I'm a 21-year-old sub into spanking and domination. One thing I love after a spanking is some hot ass-play. I've come to like it more and more and want to try new things.  Do you have any ideas of how to make ass-play (not sex, but with toys) more intense and hotter? I have used some basic toys, but are there other toys out there you'd recommend? Are there certain techniques or things a TOP could use on me to increase the pleasure and intensity?

The second thing is the stretch you feel in your sphincters – and you have two. The outer ring you can control – though it can also snap shut in a reflex action. The inner ring is an ‘involuntary’ muscle and needs the body to relax to allow entry. The amount of stretch you feel can be slight with, say, a finger or two slipped in, or pretty mind-blowing if you are being fisted… the sense of stretching, of filing up inside, is wild and when you first try it not a little scary*… (It is interesting playing with a straight guy – and many straight guys like male-male SM but not the sex –occasionally I’ve introduced them to ass-play and it’s a whole new world…)

The third part is that not far inside your ass-hole you come in close contact with your prostate. Pressure on this ‘gland’ gives a very intense and ‘special’ kinda feeling. When you first try it it can remind you of shitting, because, I guess, pressure is exerted on this area when you crap. (One of the things that makes shitting such a satisfying feeling.) And of course, you get lots of stimulation there if you are fucked well.

There is a lot to get to know about the feeling of the prostate… try exploring with your index and middle finger. Lie on your back, lift your knees to your ears, and insert two fingers and press up gently towards your public hair. Stroke your fingers back and forth and find the spot. Once you know where it is on yourself, it’s easier to find it on others.

There are a lot of toys that can stimulate this area to one degree or another. A butt plug as well as giving a satisfying feeling of fullness and stretch will rub on this area – especially if you are bent over. Dildos can also rub the area if the angle is right. And, of course, a vibrator can take you outa the real world all together! For those into electro you can buy butt plugs with metal contacts on them and pass stimulating pulses of current through the prostate. (But, always use a power source specifically designed for sex play and always keep play below the waist so as not to interfere with the electrical impulses of the heart.)

A new toy I have recently been introduced to is the Prantra. There are a number of such devices on the market (others include the Aneros and Contour T bar) but I find this one particularly well designed in that it is a little more ‘insistent’ in it’s pressure on the prostate and in the snug fit in the hole. It has been designed by Seb Cox, a sex worker in the UK who specializes in ass-play, and I think his expertise and experience are evident in the design of this device. For more info on the Prantra, click here.

This device, or others of similar design, have the advantage that they can be inserted before play begins and left in place during a spanking or other action such as CBT or TT. Any squirming, hip grinding or butt clenching that ensues as a result of the action has a direct secondary effect by stimulating the prostate. This can be a wild mix of sensual pleasure and sexual pain. But, as with all good things, it takes a little practice to get used to. Remember the membranes that line the ass-hole and rectum are delicate and you should never use the same toy on more than one person without complete sterilization – germs pass very easily into the body via the rectum. The main thing is to take it slow and open up the ass gently as this will help to ensure that the sensation are pleasant and not simply a pain in the butt!

The ass is a sensitive and erotic area that is often under appreciated. It’s well worth exploring in depth!

* that feeling of being scared is not wholly inappropriate. It is easy to cause damage playing here so always take it slow and use plenty of water-based lube. (Greasy lubes are NOT good – they weaken condoms and other rubber barriers and they can block the cells inside the anus and cause infection.) But guys, if you play safe and go carefully you can relax and have FUN!!
There are a number of elements to ass play – aspects that together make it such a stimulating and pleasing form of play – one that can enhance the sense of being dominated while also being sensually pleasurable (well most of the time…)

First, there is the most basic fact – someone is putting things inside your body. That is a very intimate idea in itself – an erotic concept as well as a physical sensation and this, I think, magnifies in the imagination the other sensations of ass-play.
